RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and Direct Day-to-Day Operations of the Business by clearly laying out action plans with short and long term objectives to enhance processes, procedures and controls in global logistics/supply chain, IT infrastructure, financial planning/budgeting, facility management, sourcing and people management
• Create a standard of excellence around leadership and performance that includes clear communication and establishes accountability through goal setting with specific deliverables, timelines and performance metrics to best evaluate outcomes; Inspire teams to a greater level of achievement while continually encouraging a productive and respectful organizational culture
• Direct functional areas in development and application of analytic tools and reports that provide deeper insight and inform improved decision-making
• Research and adopt best in class systems and practices, making recommendations for upgrades that meet the needs of the organization while delivering an impactful return on investment
• Implement continuous improvement processes that anticipate the future state of business
• Positively represent the company culture in all interactions with retailers and vendors; negotiate effectively with sourcing partners
• Manage high level IT/finance vendor partnerships to drive operational vision and efficiencies
REQUIREMENTS
• 10+ years of in-depth Operational Leadership experience in a complex wholesale fashion business
• Possesses a proven track record of success, significantly growing a wholesale business
• Experienced in global logistics and vendor partnership; willing to travel as required
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to think creatively and innovatively, while adapting to shifting priorities as needed
• Must consistently model a collaborative, enthusiastic and respectful style while demonstrating exceptional judgment, critical thinking and decision making skills
• Must be able to build trust with internal and external partners, influencing positive change
• Strong presentation skills, specifically targeting customers, employees, stakeholders and board members
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Operations, Logistics required, MBA preferred
