GM/Head of Digital Commerce

General Management:
Serve as a general manager and entrepreneurial leader for website, including leading all digital ecommerce strategy, development, optimization and execution initiatives
Drive the digital experience from a utilitarian ecommerce site to an immersive brand experience across all platforms
Lead omnichannel best practices and align resources to full omni implementation
Build critical functions and capabilities including analytics, user experience, design, wed and mobile development
Drive brand and product positioning, resulting in measurable increased sales and profitability. Apply detailed analysis to influence business decisions to drive further performance
Partner with senior management in the establishment of budgets and strategies to achieve defined objectives. Develop and execute both short- and long-term business plans for continued sales and profit growth
Maximize third party relationships and partnerships with an eye toward creating synergies and driving a seamless, integrated customer-focused experience
Own and drive the full channel P&L. Oversee all technology, analytics and global product management , site development and user experience
Work collaboratively within the organization to ensure execution of key initiatives that lead to increased market share and profitability across all product lines and consumer segments
Continue to build, foster and develop the ecommerce team, through ongoing and effective training, development and retention

Build brand recognition for company as a global online destination amongst target customers, the industry and the media
Capitalize on evolving on-line marketing opportunities, social networking and new technology, while ensuring brand right approach for the site and for all campaigns
Analyze and communicate results on key drivers for the channel and overall business performance; utilize findings to develop both tactical and strategic recommendations and execute against those strategies
Partner with Marketing and Creative to drive all creative changes, enhancements, and upgrades to the site
Optimize the use of customer database and customized email campaigns to drive results across multiple channels. Continually seek creative ways to enhance existing database through innovative data capture techniques
Implement and develop successful on-line advertising and search campaigns to increase traffic, conversion, and repeat purchasing.
Partner with merchants and planners to drive site-merchandising strategies, ensuring optimal presentation of product as measured by conversion and average order size.

Own all daily operations for website, ensuring proper execution of site functionality and overall brand presentation
Enhance the overall customer experience and web experience to build deeper emotional connections with the brand
Partner with IT and external partners to implement updates/upgrades to the site and platform, both operational and strategic
Interface with IT on all systems-related projects and issues resolution, both pro-active and active and reactive
Work Experience: Significant experience launching and building a large scale ecommerce business, preferably gained within a multichannel retail and/or luxury goods environment
Demonstrates practical end-to-end ecommerce knowledge coupled with a passion to drive top-line growth using web marketing, analytics and multi-channel leverage
Possesses solid business acumen and is well-versed in creating and executing traffic and business driving initiatives that have resulted in tangible, measurable synergies between retail and the web
Excellent written and verbal communication and follow through skills. Able to clearly present and discuss both analysis and strategy to senior management
Dynamic, energetic and passionate about building and achieving results
Strong sense of urgency and the ability to embrace and maximize a changing landscape
Outstanding leadership skills; a hands-on style that motivates others with a clear vision
Highly adept at multi-tasking, setting priorities, and uniting key colleagues and cross-functional partners
Proactive and positive, with a “can-do” attitude; a collaborative team player and leader who takes a thoughtful, strategic approach
Exceptional operational, technological and analytical acumen

Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Business, Marketing or a related field required. MBA preferred.
